My friend Kelly, Tyler, and I all went to Los Angeles for a day of fun! We went to a Jamaican restaurant for lunch which was wonderful! After stuffing ourselves we decided to go check out the La Brea Tar Pits. At first we were a little disappointed but we ended up getting into the museum for free with military discounts (thanks Ken!), it was awesome! They had a lot to look at! Following that we decided to try a new cup cake place Kelly heard about...also awesome! Tyler was wonderful most of the day which made it nice. All in all we had a great time.

I'm jelous you and Tyler get to go and do all this stuff together. How did tyler like the big fossels? Well all is well over here, hot as ever and nothing really to do but work. I played poker last night with some british friends, and I'll probably play some horshoes later once it cools down. Tell everyone I said hello.

I was so disappointed in the Tar Pits...lol. We need to watch My Girl again to see what the big fuse was all about...lol. The LA Zoo better be better!!
