My sister is staying with us for a bit and she has been having a lot of fun with Tyler! Here are some of the pictures...

Beal Street

Our last night in Memphis we decided to go out to BB Kings for some barbecue. It was a bit pricey but the ribs were out of this world and Tyler loved listening to all the music and watching everything that was going on around him. We had a great time and I can not wait for our next family adventure.

Civil Rights Museum

The Civil Rights Museum was very interesting. It was a lot to read and take in which is not a good thing when your cranky 10 month old has had enough. Tyler was not cooperating so we were forced to rush through the exhibits. The only picture we took was this one of the balcony where Martin Luther King Jr was shot. By this point Tyler had finally fallen asleep but...he has been here!

Graceland

We took Tyer to Graceland, which was so fun! We got there just early enough to avoid the crowd. It was still hot but everything was air conditioned which was nice.

Ken was such a champ on our drive to Tennessee, we left at 7 pm due to a flat tire and had to drive 8 hours to get there. Ken kept saying that he would let me know when he got tired and he never did so he drove the entire way on his own! We visited with his cousin that he has not seen in a long time. It was a short trip but well worth it!

Loves his Mac and Cheese!!!

Tyler has really enjoyed trying so many different foods but it seems that mac and cheese is his favorite. He tends to wear more than he eats but when he gets a good bite he starts clapping as you can see in the third picture. It is so funny to watch but quite the mess to pick up.

The hair strikes again!

Ken just loves making Tyler's hair look wild after bath time and with his hair getting so long it is really quite funny. I keep saying it is time for a hair cut but...Ken is determined on waiting until he is one year old so...I guess another month of long hair it is.

So much for May...

We have been horrible about keeping up with the blog lately! Hopefully this will change so everyone can see how much little Tyler is changing. He sure is a handful these days...as he is always on the go and curious about one thing or another. These pictures are from Ken's work picnic about a month ago. Tyler had a great time checking out all the different people and things going on. It was really hot but that didn't slow him down at all!
